What is a website maintenance plan?
A website maintenance plan is a monthly service where we look after your website for you. That means hosting, backups, software updates and monitoring, so your site stays secure, fast and online.
Do I really need website maintenance?
If your website is built on WordPress, yes. WordPress, its plugins and its theme all release updates, many of them security fixes, as WordPress explains in its guide to updating WordPress. Sites that aren’t kept up to date are at greater risk of problems, which is why website maintenance plans exist.
How much do website maintenance plans cost?
Plans start at £55 a month for Essential Care, £75 for Advanced Care and £95 for Complete Care.
Is there a contract or notice period?
No. Our hosting and maintenance plans have no notice period.
What is the difference between the plans?
Essential Care covers hosting, backups, updates, monitoring and reports. Advanced Care adds one hour of changes to existing pages each month. Complete Care adds uptime checks every minute and higher-spec hosting for larger or e-commerce sites.
Can you look after a website you didn’t build?
Yes. Before we take a site on, we check it first, including the plugin and theme licences, and tell you honestly if anything needs sorting.
Do you look after e-commerce websites?
Yes. Complete Care is designed for larger and e-commerce sites. Get in touch and we’ll recommend the right setup.
Do you work with businesses outside Dorset?
